The intent was as Aaron noted above.
Dress up the kids, sister, boyfriend,etc.
(Of course make the animal a focal point in the picture.)
(It is Halloween people)
If you really, really can't make that happen (really..?)
Then Halloween theme so nobody will be excluded.
(Will have to put effort in to compete with those who dress up)..
