Some people have tried. But I will concur that, while likely not a record-breaker, the snake in the photo is definitely a big one.

I'm sure a wild conda would love a free meal danging in front of his face... Especially if he hasn't eaten in a few months

Still not the best 'Conda Catchin' technique though lol

Well if you have a better idea, then I guess you will just have to come along and we can see whose idea is better. Loser gets fed to the winners snake.

We could always just along the bottom and hope we find a docile one.
