Doing a bit of research on boas and ran across this article. I'm not sure if the author was lazy in putting it together or if he or she is really that ill informed. Anyway, what do you guys think?

It's just really dated information and bad/inaccurate.

I think they tried to be good and the best course for us instead of laughing is to send them an e-mail like Kevin did.

We're the informed, it's on us to correct these things.

Oh man, that is bad. My favorite was the diet of "small rice." I was thinking this was funny until I saw the bull snake with its head chopped off in the "how to kill a snake section."

Think about the context of this. This isnt a care sheet for keepers, its a website for a guy who catches snakes out of people's houses; basically a pest control guy in Florida. With that in mind I think its actually not a bad site. He obviously cares for the animals and is trying to keep people from killing them.

It seems pretty obvious that he meant to type "small mice" not small rice, and that he was perhaps getting too flowery with his language when he said 'little venom'. It seems like he is basically saying they arent poisonous at all, which is true.

Id say try to be nice about it Kevin. He is a hell of a lot better and more kind than most animal control people Ive met in dealing with problem reptiles. No need to start a flame war over minor details.

That's why I wanted opinions. Wasn't sure how to respond to the guy. He may have the best of interests but his grammar leaves much to be desired.

Even look at the caption on the beheaded snake pic. This is definately a site that someone would google "the kill 'dem der snakey thingies" a lot of it is against killing the snake and I hope some people nay have taken a different path after reading his info. . . Soon to be corrected after our emails. I hope :/
