He hasnt done too much growing mate tbh. I highly doubt the biting is hunger, my money is on him just being super defensive. He is a WC and he has some terrible scarring down his left flank behind the head about 4 inches long and an inch high and a lot of other scarring further down his body that doesnt show on the pics. i will try and get some that show the extent of it, tbh im surprised hes even alive, there must have been some hole in his neck to scar like that.
He has had a terrible time of it before i got him, and was already started on mice before he came to me. I had no issues converting the yellow over so thought how hard can it be, turns out very!
I have tried allsorts but he has no interest in anything but mice, even starved him for over a month, offered nice warm rat and nothing, didnt entertain it in the slightest. The only thing i havnt tried is skinning a mouse and wrapping the skin round the rat but i need to invest in a scalple for that.
Hes just a downright fussy feeder, even when i offer multiple mice, he sometimes eats them all and sometimes just the one.
Just cant win with this guy...
