lol i do *not* see where that snake could have fit an epic dump before taking it. I know it's their shape tendency, but it cracks me up that he's so thick! I like it..but LOL!

Ooooh, trust me, it's epic, lol. I had a Burmese and a Retic which were both over 17 1/2 feet for many-many years and although they could really produce some large output, proportionally they were nothing compared to a Blood

I really need to stop looking at your bloods, Todd. The more I look, the more I want one lol

They are truly an impressive and magnificent animal. All of yours are awe inspiring.

Haha! I don't share them to encourage people, I share them so you can all live vicariously through my images and not have to get one yourselves. If, however, you need to be talked *out* of getting one at any point, I'm your man, lol.

It's not that they're awful snakes, but not many people really understand what they're all about and if you don't get that part, your experience would be really bad and the snake will suffer as a result.

It seems to me we saw a post just last week about this very thing and the result was a dead snake caused by an absolute lack of understanding what the animal was all about, which is a very common story and one that's easily avoided by doing some research to discover that these are not a snake for everyone, that you can't treat them like any other snake and that they do require a certain finesse to keep healthy, happy and safely.

We all know I can ramble on and on and on about this, so I'll cut myself off here and just say that if anyone wants my 2 cents on Bloods, why snake laws and bans have become necessary, or anything else worth debating, I'm always open to serious discussion in PM or via email with responsible, sensible people who want to learn and gain some understanding, but don't waste my time if you're not ready to get serious or you're a total idiot because I will work you over so badly that you'll be luck to get away with your skin. I have a Zero Tolerance Policy for fools

Re: Blue - spring 2012

I've had this discussion with you a week or so ago. As much as I would love to keep a blood, I'm continuing to research them as I know this is not an animal you can just jump into keeping. I also know so far that a blood is not something I want to keep now. I want to get some more experience before getting one. I'm still VERY interested in them, but I do want to wait.

You posting pictures as well as your experiences with them fuels my interest in them further and I thank you and other responsible blood keepers for sharing them.

What can I tell ya...like my hair, my patience gets a little more thin every year, so it's best to throw out the odd reminder just in case someone is new to reading my posts, lol. K, good talk

Yup, I may be old but I'm not *that* old...I remember

Btw, I hope you didn't think I meant you in that last paragraph about skinning fools, lol. Trust me, if I thought you were a problem you'd already know it in no uncertain terms. I think you're *very* much on the right track with everything I've read about you're Blood python thoughts, so it's all good there!

I can stop posting my Bloods if it'll make it easier to let the idea simmer rather than having it at a full boil, but I'll have to forward all the hate mail I get for stopping over to you to deal with, HAHA!
