Another hide box on the cool side, something to cover the top, you are going to loose all the humidity, digital humidity and temp gauges, the stick on ones don't work

I would cover the two sides also, it helps make them feel more secure

p.s. In the poll i see you have heat rock as an option...never use heat rocks, they get way too hot and could end up cooking your snake

Ok will do, so no heat rock and cover sides on top of tank.. i do have 2 gauges inside , that stick on one doesn't work anyways just left it in there cause they r a pain to peel off. should i put low hanging vines and climbing things in there to?

oh and i did put there heat pads under the hide boxes to keep them warm inside, and i use room temp water in there water dishes, they both like that better.

they do appreciate a hide on the cool side too though, that way they can warm up and cool off when needed and still feel safe.

cover the sides of the tank with background paper or whatever, this is just so they don't see out of the glass, it helps with security

Cover the top except where the light is so that the humidity does not escape. Any open or screen top is a humidity killer

What are the temps in there?

With only one hide the snake has to choose security or temperature, with two hides it can choose the temp it wants and still feel secure.

As said above definitely no heat rocks and as BP can be nervous the more hidey places the better - i have made it so that my BP can get from hot side to cold side without being visible.

Babies? Be carefully if you are housing two BP together as they can eat eachother. I myself like coco husk as a substrate. You can get it at Canadian tire labeled coco husk mulch. It is dirt cheap too.

You could also sete up 2 shelves, one on each side abut half way up from the bottom, lined with vines for decor for climbing on, (Also depending on how hot the top becomes, don't want the baby getting burned). I am not sure what kind of carpet you meant in the poll, but regular carpet will get nasty once he/she(?) has a bowel movement.

vines - would look cool
natural wood - not from outside unless you can sterilize it before hand - boil and then bake it and no pine or cedar.
wood covered in carpet to climb - carpet is hard to clean but I am thinking house carpet and not reptile carpet
heat rocks - can burn the baby. They are sold in mass production but they don't come with gauges to adjust temps and our babies are not intelligent enough to get off something that is burning them

I hope you don't house your snakes together.. This can cause a lot of stress for them and also they can eat/hurt each other.
Heat rocks are also a HUGE no no. They get far to hot and are not safe.

yes indeed they are in their own tanks lol, they have met but slither Younger of the 2 decided she was more interested in wandering around then simon lol. and they aren't babies lol . simon is 10 and slither is 4 and a half. they have only been around eachother once and it went great but no signs of breeding so i will wait for awhile before seeing if they want to mate again, i am in no big rush for that lol. love just having the 2 of them for now. hubby wants to get corn snakes and of course he has everything ready for them but i am hesitant about the local pet stores around here.
