Re: They said what?
off my friend's facebook page
Holy ****! This country is in desperate need of education on immigration law. Please tell me what rock have you been living under to believe that everyone that enters the country gets a citizenship card?
"Uh...do you mean a permanent residency card aka green card? no, I mean a citizenship card that everyone gets when they enter the country. There is no such thing as a citizenship card, if you are naturalized, you get a certificate but no card saying you're a citizen. Do you have a citizenship card because you were born in the U.S.? No." ...Legit conversation I just had w/ a human resources dept. I just don't ****ing get it. WOW.
They fired my sister during training bc she wasn't a citizen. Her ssc states a green card must be present for it to be used as ID so she took her passport as an alternative & although an American passport is proof of citizenship they still told her she wasn't a citizen. I called to inquire about why they told her she wasn't a citizen and why they refused to take her passport as ID/proof of citizenship and she spewed this bs.

Re: They said what?
THANKS!! lovely visual!!
My mom got a puppy this summer, and it ended up the "breeder" she went to was a broker fro a puppy mill. There were 2 pups left out of the litter that mamma was interested in. a male and a female. mamma figured she would want the girl, but ended up picking the boy as a better playmate for my son.
So apparently there was another family also interested in the male from the litter for thier son, but my mom got there firstand took the male home. about 2 weeks later, these kids and this lady came running up to her saying "that's JUST like my puppy", they talked about it and found out that the 2 dogs were from the same litter.
Then the lady says, I was so lucky that the breeder saved the last MALE for me, which made mom question her because mom knew SHE had gotten the last male. After talking some more this is what they figured out!!
The puppy mill broker simply sold this family the last puppy which was a female and TOLD them it was male. When mamma went to their car to see this "male puppy" she checked and told them that no, it was female and had to flip both puppies over tom show this lady the difference between male and female.
SO this stupid puppy mill broker took total advantage of this lady's ignorance to dogs and sold her a female as a male. I wonder what was going through her head?

What I want to know is that how does a full grown adult woman with kids NOT know that males dogs have visiable wee-wees? I can understand if it was a cat...but dogs are...well..little men in fur coats...

Re: They said what?
ya but there are people who know nothing about dogs, and these are shih-tzu x poodles and have very long hair, so I can sort of see it!
Having worked in the vet field for years as an AHT, I have seen and heard about all the things that should just be "common sense", problem is common sense is really not that common.
Many people just believe what they are told, no questions asked, when talking about subjects they are unknowledgable about. They think it makes them look like they do know what they're talking about, but the unfortunate reality is that it leaves them just as ignorant as they were before.
