So putting them in a stressfull situation, where theres a good chance that they may one day show a member of the public their bad side and lash out is a good idea then?
Dont get me wrong, im all for educating the general public and giving snakes a chance to be seen as the wonderful animals they are and not the "mindless killers" that the media makes them out to be. However, thats not education your doing, its stressing an animal out for your "image"
. Sitting down in a calm room with people, and talking to them.. letting them ask questions and letting the braver ones hold the snake is a better way to go about it.
if yours ever lashed out and hurt someone at a gig, explain theyre stressed/scared all you like. Because all people will remember is this nasty, dangerous snake bit somebody for no reason.
Each to their own tho, at the end of the day its what works for you.
