Re: Could it hurt?

I would assume so, how well is the garage/snake tanks ventilated? How long is the bike running in the garage, how close to the snakes?

Re: Could it hurt?

Are the tanks + garage well ventilated or do the fumes linger?

Re: Could it hurt?

Any chance you can relocate the reptiles to a safer location? You don't want them in an open garage anyway, anyone walking around can take them.

Re: Could it hurt?

Seal the screen tops with saran wrap. Fixes your temps, humiditiy, and will keep the fumes out of the cage.

Re: Could it hurt?

i would move them in the house if you can. if you close the screen up you cant get fresh air in the cages.

Snakes don't require a ton of oxygen, and most do better with decent humidity. Air from his garage = dry and cold, air in the cage = humid and warm. Leavin a small bit of the top uncovered will be more than enough for the snake to breathe.

Re: Could it hurt?

Lol he's in fl dry cold air that's funny but that's not the concern the concern is fumes from the bike gas and carbon monoxide. In a perfect world no exposure would be best ofcourse. Id move them if I were you or park the bike elsewhere. But if that can't happen id bet the limited exposure they are getting isn't going to harm them. Just my opinion

Re: Could it hurt?

I would still say a covered top on a screen enclosure is more valuable and will do the snake better and maintain more constant temps than the Florida air. Apparently FL never has weather like everywhere else.

Florida is not an excuse to house animals all that much differently. IMO.
