I understand that, and I agree with your point, actually. It IS sad when people choose money over passion - but in my case, I have not given up my passion, in fact, having a job that pays helps facilitate my passion that will only keep growing. Also, I do remember the staff at the zoo dissuading me from seeking a job placement there because the pay was so poor.
BUT in your defense, it was partially my fault, as I realize the statement appears to imply what you pointed out, at least on it's face. I just wanted to correct my image that I feared was already being tainted an ugly color from my very first posting!
