I have only had one escape before after seeing this last night do you think i should re locate my pups crate. I highly doubt that sanke would be able to take on my puppy but I don't wanna see him try

Re: Python Escape

Just so we're clear, the snake HAS NOT escaped, correct? You're just worried about what may happen if he does?

Re: Python Escape

No he has not escaped. It was mostly my girl friends request to ask on here she is terrified that he is going to get out and eat our puppy. I haven't fed him in at least a month, he was going through a shed and my supplier didn't have the rats

Re: Python Escape

lol I'd say better safe than sorry relocate the puppy till it gets bigger, and maybe get a crate with smaller gaps between bars, because that DEFINITELY looks like a hungry face on the Carpet hahahahaha

Re: Python Escape

when my dog walks passed my dum's viv, the dum will see something walk by and get SUPER RIGID and taste the air a lot lol. i'd like to assume that they know they can't eat anything that big and leave it alone.

Re: Python Escape

I wouldn't be too worried about the dog actually BEING EATEN, for me it seems much more likely that the snake would have the feeding response, kill it, and THEN realize it's much to big to eat. Note also, Zak, that Jay's is still a puppy; I could see a large constrictor going after him much more than I could see one going after that cuddly yellow horse you call a dog

Re: Python Escape

yea, but puppy or not, look at the size of the dog compared to the snakes head. it could NEVER, EVER eat that dog lol. you're right about the feeding response and it could kill it then just leave it. i would just keep them seperated forever and there shouldn't be an issue.

if you're talking like "can i put my RTB on the bed with my chihuahua?"
HELL NO! lol

not to mention my "horse" is technically still a puppy lol. she'll be a puppy till she's like 5.

Re: Python Escape

Dear god lol she looks like she's on track to be as big as our German Shepherd.

Anyways, I would say, Jay, there's NO WAY your carpet could EAT your puppy...I'd tell the girlfriend that and just leave it at that lol

Re: Python Escape

Can't stand lil dogs, Ill have to dig up a picture, my 2 dogs spike and bubbles were pulling a sleigh with me on it. I'm 6'3 180lbs (both dogs have harnesses) and I had a Chihuahua in my hands:P I'd love to see one of them pulling a sleigh with a mouse on it.
