Re: Outdoors reptile pictures.
Yeah, garters are quick little buggers. Most colubrids are pretty quick-moving things, except for my file snakes. They just amble along without a care in the world. lol

Re: Outdoors reptile pictures.
The one that always scared me the most was Limon... He was arboreal and could have made it interesting trying to recover him from that tree.

Re: Outdoors reptile pictures.
To answer the mite question. This was the first time i ever let them go in the grass or tree. I haved them outside before but was always holding them or they were on something up off the ground. I did mist each one down lightly, and wipe them down with paper towels before putting back in their cages as a precaution. To make sure there wasn't anything on them. The outdoor picures are always the coolest IMO. Even if your just holding them. Natural sunlight really makes their cooler pop. So if you have any show them off. Please!

Re: Outdoors reptile pictures.
the two warmest days we have had, Chomper was the one to go out.
He genuinely needs the exercise after spending all winter cooped up in his enclosure.

Re: Outdoors reptile pictures.
The colours and patterns of the snakes really stand out beautifully against the natural background - fantastic thread that will run forever me thinks!
