'Jungle corn' photo
Not for the purists, but I still think he is pretty. This is our adult male albino 'jungle corn'. I would be interested to see photos of other normal and albino varieties of these hybrids. People seem to either love them or hate them. This guy has a great personality - very outgoing and more active than our corns, or our old cal king and it is nice to have one to show people how they compare to the two parent species.

I find him beautiful, I think it's a little premature to worry about keeping corn bloodlines "pure" since they are by no means endangered and can be bred so easily. If it were a species that is rare in captivity or endangered in the wild that is when I don't like the idea of hybrids quite so much. JMHO though.

Jungle pics
I've got to say that's one of the nicer albinos I've seen. I'm not a big fan of albino jungles, but I do like that one. Here's a few pics of mine.
Top two are of the male, bottom pic is the female. We produced these guys from a 50/50 king to a striped corn.

Hi Katt,
I really like the female with the broader saddles - interesting how they develop color over time. When I first got snakes I wanted a normal 'jungle corn' but ended up with the albino in a deal. Still like the coloration of the normals though. We aren't planning on getting any more - got jungle carpets and decided we like the 'real' jungles better, but I still like having one 'jungle corn' around. Thanks for sharing the photos - look forward to seeing more of them as they mature.

NICE ALBINO JUNGLE, LOOKS LIKE MY MALE!
I was lucky to walk into a sweet jungle deal myself this fall. I managed to pick up 2.3 adult breeders (1 albino male & 1.3 hets) & their remaining offspring - 3 albinos & 7 hets (either 66%pos or 100% depending on who's Dad LOL). So I'm looking forward to lot's of nice babies next year (there were some "screamers" this year). Anyhow your male (very nice BTW)looks really close to mine, I'll have to send you a pic (once I take some) to show you. Good Luck with the jungle. Mark IsBell - GONE SNAKEE!

Alphonzo - very pretty hybrid. Do you expect it to change much as it matures - will the saddles lighten and extend at all? Look forward to seeing more shots of it when it gets bigger.
Mark - If you don't get photos posted here, I will look for yours at the TARAS and Red Deer shows in the new year. I don't know the breeder of our male, but I know Annette (Wrapped up in Reptiles) produces them here in Alberta and he is not from her line - he was an out of province aquisition. Would love to see photos of some of your normals too.

I donīt know if it will change much, but I will place more pics when it grows. My guess is that she gets darker, but that is just a feeling Iīve got.
She is hibernating on this moment.

Nice snakes everybody!!! I do have a question though, probably stupid, but here goes... How did these guys become known as Jungle Corns? Why not King-Corns or Corn-Kings?

I love the markings on the albino, especially on the head. That is the first albino Jungle corn I have ever seen.

As an avid purist I am loathe to admit this, but Katt, that female is AMAZING! She is absolutely beautiful!
