the other day i got 3 10's for 15 bucks.... i also picked up a 48 gal octoganal for 49...

the 10's all have slight cracks in them but nothin un fixible..... im a glass guy so... lol

he was also selling a 50 gallon bow front with a crack in it for 50 bucks... ect ect....

ive gotten all my tanks at great deals... the octonagal and 2 10's i picked up at one place and the 3 10's i pcked up at another...

where abouts are you located.. shipping a fragile tank may prove to be more costly than to just buy one elsewhere.. maybe someone can narrow down where to get tanks at cheap in your area..

you probably could find a 45 gallon at a pet shop for less then buy one from them and they have to ship it which would be too expensive. I was talking to somone in the states and they said a 45 gallon was $50 U.S funds.......

thats a pretty good price.
they have theirs on the site for $60..plus shipping can cost well over $100.

you could always build a melimine and steal the glass sliders off something you find at a garage sale... low cost and the snake would feel more secure.... you could also build it to fit where you want.. rather than having to try and find a place for it..

all you need to build it is a drill, a bit, a few screws, wood and a plan.. hardware stores will even cut it to the size you want..

check out the local classifieds in the newpaper. There is always someone selling tanks in the paper. much cheaper and usually closer to you then online dealers.

i think im gunna build it with my father..
a friend of mine from another forum emailed me some plans and i think im going to go with those.
besides..atleast this way i can paint the outside of the cage to match my furniture..
