Thats Gratitude for ya!!!!
So today is feeding day for my snakes and my BRB is hiding under all of his substrate....to make my feeding life easier I decide to upile all of the substrate; pull him out; replace the substrate and put him on top...made sense to me....well I had him in one hand and was re-maneuvering the substrate when BAM...got tagged in the face!!!! I am bleeding rather profusely from the tiny little pin prick where I felt one of his teeth puncture but I am not worried about it at all....
Ah adventures in Herping!!!!

LOL! Haha. I got pooped on TWICE by my cousins corn snake- two days in a row O_O No clue what was going on, either the snake was scared of me, or just happened to have to go two days in a row (and I held it too long) or something... My aunt said maybe it was marking it's territory (because I held it so long) not sure if that's even a possibility... but hey, it was way better than cat pee/poo. Actually it was very funny...

I had a similar incident with a rather large yellow rat. I was thinking about buying him so I figured I should check him out. I made the biggest mistake when I decided to look at him face to face, he cocked back and stupid me I just held him there in front of my face knowing that there was a good chance he was going to bite me and sure enough he grabbed a hold of my nose! I bled for quite a while and to make things worth I was at work so I had to help people with a big piece of kleenex on my nose (we were out of band-aids). Needless to say I learned a valuable lesson that day: "Don't dangle big angry snakes in front of your face (or any snake for that matter)".

A few months ago we were cleaning our 4 foot Tiawan Beauty snakes tank out. We were attempting to put him back into the tank and I was so busy watching the end with all the teeth that I neglected to pay attention to the tail, until he cracked it right across my face. I saw stars and thought for sure he had broken my nose. Luckily my eyes didn't swell, but I could not touch my nose for about two weeks.Being bit by him was painful, but being smacked by that tail hurt even worse, not to mention how embarrassed I was.

Well I am certainly glad to hear that I am not the only one who has had this misfortune....I think I am gonna take some lessons from this:
1. Teeth end bad, not to be held near anything vital
2. Tail end bad, not be held near anything that I don't want to be smelly!
Keep the stories coming people!

we have one ball that has the most aggressive feeding response i've ever seen.. last night she literally charged out of her enclosure snapping at anything and everything until we dangled the rat in front of her and she went to town.
and this ball we had to assist feed for her first 6-7 meals..
but if we are talking about bites and the like, about 6 months ago i was at my friends place and we were looking at his mildly grumpy bloods.. one of them started freaking out, so i was given the other one which was tame so others could deal with this P.O'd blood.. anyways, next thing i know, i've got a 4' blood latched onto the back of my neck, its tail spins around and i get musked across my head... blood is everywhere..
it was awesome. It doesn't get any better then that
