Was just wondering how some people buy the 20000 bp's ive seen out there ...along with all the animals i see people just buying almost every week!! I barely get by with my 7 animals and 3 out of 7 only eat cheep vegies..mostly my sav is what kills me. So i wanted to open a post on where you guys pull your income for your reptile purchases

All of my normal balls (11 of them) came from working myself. My dad paid for my pair of het piebald balls, my pastel ball, and my pair of het albino balls, but I have to pay him back. I've already paid him back for my het albino pair and I'm working on the rest!!

Most breeders with expensive charges, have full time jobs in other fields and the seed money comes from such employment.
Once you become a breeder, much trading can then be done with other breeders, and this swapping of high end animals eliminates the need for real currency.
It's very cool to buy herps with herps, but it only works if you produce stuff other breeders want.
Barring that you sell your animals and use that cash flow to reinvest in other interests.

You know if you hit someone from behind right at the base of the skull they'll be out for a good twenty minutes, nice and clean. You can grab their wallet and be long gone by the time...

Er...

Live off Ramen noodles and forego luxuries like furniture that matches or curtains to support the herp addiction with whatever (legal) income you may have.

I get disability payments from the government. $414 of it goes to rent and the leftover $500 is for anything I want. I'm hoping I'll eventually get a job though.

I kid you not. I have promised my wife no more snakes until we buy curtains for the living room. Of course she really loves the new bull snake, so maybe she'll bend on this.

lol my birthday/christmas i dont work yet 15 years old, have to do my stupid hours first, and next year ill be working, but most of my money come from allowence that i save up from my parents but i have to limit my self with how many reptiles i have, cause i might not even have enough cash to feed them, so i only got 2/3 reptiles. Once i work my collection will get bigger
