New tangerine 'dream' hondo - albino version
Have wanted an albino tangerine honduran from the first time I saw a photo and now he has arrived and settled in - it is time to show him off. He is more exquisite in real life than I could have imagined - he doesn't even look real - but he still acts like every other Honduran baby - have to get him in a deli cup to get a decent photo! Thanks yet again to Terry Dunham (Albino Tricolors) who produces such wonderful hondurans.

Beautiful Mary! I now understand why you meant that you had enough males...
Is he an Hybino project tangerine albino? You are building an impressive hondo colony, we definately need to coordinate some breeding projects together
Congrats on your new boy

Thanks for kind comments everyone - I am just blown away by this guy every time I look at him. Was definately a splurge but I love having beautiful snakes.
Joshm - in terms of what hondos I have - currently many are youngsters - posted some photos of the baby tangerines a few days ago. For adults we have a couple male ghosts and a trio of tangerine adults. Will be a few years before we are producing any of these morphs that people like MarcB get on a regular basis - but I really like Hondurans and it was a thrill to hatch our first clutch this year. Pics of our guys are in my photo gallery (click camera icon beside name).
Classic - definately get yourself one - or more - they are so pretty you cannot believe it and I am thrilled with this one - so my advice is to splurge!
MarcB - yes he is from the hybino project so is possible het (and possible homozygous) for hypo as well. Color doesn't seem intense enough to me to figure he is a hybino (there were some posted recently on another forum that looked like they were tangerine albino with a thin, vanishing band look to them - not much said but I had to wonder if they might be hybino). Main reason I am looking for a female hypo is to test him out for het hypo when he matures. I have a long way to go until I can come close to guys like you who are actually producing these snakes (and the hypo tri-colors and snows) but I am sure looking forward to having some luck this season,
mary v.
