I just saw a episode today where they had to jump in a pool of water with a mixture of a gorgeous albino burmese, tons of garter and ribbon snakes, milksnakes, kingsnakes and cornsnakes. I was praying for the Burmese to eat them all (the humans)...

That should be considered cruelty to animals. It makes me sick when they use snakes for stupid contests.

I could not agree more burmer. I think I am going to go find the web site for fear factor and write them, and maybe if enough people write, they will stop (doubt it) abusing animals like this. They won't tie a cute puppy to their waist and then have them dive.....why would a snake thats not a water snake be able to hold it's breath any better?

If you want to write fear factor here is their e-mail....if this gets edited, then email me if you want to find their e-mail.................

not to sound like an @ss, but there are lots of threads on FF already. there is one that is still active in the general discussion.
i really dont think this FF stuff needs to be posted every other day.

dont get me wrong, the show makes me mad also, byt we dont need to post about it in every forum.

i posted this in your other post too snakelover111

You just have to DRILL the facts into their head, and shove it in their face........like a daily email or something..I don't know.........If there is a place online to "sign" this petition then point me to it.....because I will sign it.....

yeah i agree it is sad and upsetting that they would use animals in their show.... and allow it to die. Try writing to the ASPCA about it, maybe they can help stop it. Also, JD your icon below your s/n is great! : )

i dont think theres much we can do by emailing to fearfactor@nbc.com we'd have to email the managment of nbc the producers of fear factor arent gonna go to their bosses and tell them that ppl are complaining. if we complain to their bosses then something might happen

complain to the advertisers. they're the ones that pay the bills. hit them in the pocket book where it counts.

Hehe--I think Neo meant, who specifically pays money to Fear Factor, when they are performing such cruel stunts.

I've never seen these episodes (although I've seen the show before) and all of these snake mistreatments en masse prompted me to have a weird dream a few nights ago...

...some circus ringleader dropped 300 snakes in my living room and my challenge was to unknot five of them. After doing this, I asked to take some of the snakes (since they were clearly in such a bad situation) and for the rest of the dream I was picking out beautiful snakes from the pile! (it became nightmarish after my dream-self starting thinking about learning care requirements, quarantining, housing, vet visits, possible feeding problems...hehe...but initially it was great)

Oh man, that is just sick. Unfortunately, so as long as the ratings are up, and they're making money, they're going to continue the show.
