I wanna see what you guys have set-up for your chams!!!
I would have pics but my dad refuses to buy a DC an our scanner is junk!!!

The veiled I have is in a 4 feet High, 3 wide, and 2 deep reptarium, with lotsa vines at different levels for him to adjust his temp accordingly ... and minimum plants because when i had a ton, he often got stuck in them - LOL - the veiled is cup fed about every 2 days, and we let him eat till he is full -

my dwarf panthers live together in an aquarium (to maximize the humidity ... crzy mountain species) and there are tons of leaves, and vines to climb on ... there is also a perminate feeding dish inside, where they can eat throughout the day ... the bottom is forest bedding, because both are females and they are egg laying machines!!!!!

i am possibly looking for a male dwarf panther if anyone in the ottawa area finds one ... if not (im not sure about the whole breeding idea) i am looking for a ds or rxp bar panther chameleon ... and maybe some bearded or leaf pygmies

so please .. post pics or describe your enclosures

The pothos has been cut back quite a bit, cuz it was too crowded, but now he's been eating the plant viciously lol ... so if I could turn back time I mighta left that plant a little more full!!

Anyhow, that's my set up, it's for a 7 month old male veiled chameleon. I took him outside today to bask in the sun in a reptarium cage thing for a while, he really enjoyed it, except for when I went to peak & check up on him... he'd try to hide and go all mad-coloured again, lol...

Can't wait to see others's (?) enclosures!

dont let your cham eat too much pothos ... in large quantities, it can cause health problems for your cham!

Cham paradise,

on your outdoor cages, I notice the holes in the screen are kinda big. Do you only dish feed? Because it seems crix and other insects could easily get out.

Yes and no!LOL It depends on what I am feeding. I use silkworms as there staple diet and when I feed other insects like crickets I use a bowl. Hope this helps!

i iwsh i could use silkies for a staple .. my parents wouldnt go go having that many worms ing the house and uh... i cant aford it - LOL

I buy 6000 eggs every two months and feed out evey last one. If you think about it here in the US I pay $40 for the eggs and about $20 for the food. 1000 crickets cost $16, and one good size silkworm is equal to about 3-5 adult crickets. So I end up saving money this way, but I have 9 mouths to feed! It is not so cost effective to buy bulk when you have only a few mouths to feed. Also silkworms are much cleaner then any other feeder, no smells, no noise, all around the best food. I would much prefer silkworms in the house then crickets. Good luck!
