Question Questions from a slight beginner

Hello!!
I’ve had my ball python, Jupiter, for about 4 years now. He’s never had any health issues or eating problems but I had a few questions that I’ve had trouble finding answers of online. Please answer if you do know.
1. He’s pretty long, maybe 3-31/2ft but his head is still pretty small. He has no trouble eating medium rats, and isn’t underweight from what I can tell since he’s pretty round but he seems still kinda thin. Does he gain more thickness as he gets older?
2. He’s had some trouble shedding recently but got it off with a soak, but I’ve noticed that after the shed is gone some of his scales are bent up at the end. He doesn’t seem bothered by them, but is it normal?

Thank you so much for reading or replying!! It helps a lot, because I don’t want to stress him with a trip to the vet unless needed since the nearest one is an hour away.

Re: Questions from a slight beginner

1. He is likely as girthy as he will be. Might get a little more but overall probably at the biggest.

2. You need more humidity.
