Never tied them since they're pricey in comparison to other places but I've heard good things about them

Re: rodentpro opinions.
The shipping was more than the rodents, true, but I only bought a few to see how my new friends ate before committing to the larger sizes and more of them. However, I guess that with growing snakes, like children with clothes, they outgrow what you bought them to eat and I might be tossing some.
One good thing about Layne, though it's probably the same with the others, is that the feeders came vacuum sealed in foil bags (tear top to reveal ziplock seal), packed in a taped, sealed Styrofoam container with dry ice. There was no smell from the package and all the feeders looked clean.
I seriously think those feeders would've stayed frozen for a month!

You know you don't have to toss them, they will eat a smaller meal also!

Re: rodentpro opinions.
I know that, but then how many do you feed them of the ones they've obviously outgrown?
If the snake's head is as wide as two pinky's, side by side, then do you only feet two? Four? What's the formula? Or do I have to weigh my snake each time to calculate the 10-15% snake:feeder weight ratio?
Inquiring mind...

If the snake has outgrown pinkys you can feed 2-3 pinks per feeding until you finish them off. I've never given any of my snakes more than 3 prey items during a feeding.
Oh yeah and I recognize the Beverly Hillbillies jingle. What a show.

I think you are over thinking this... If you have been feeding them one see if they will take two...
I have two ball pythons i've been trying to bump up from one fuzzie to two fuzzies a week... The first time I offered it they gobbled them down... The second time they turned it down and I gave the fuzzies to Moe and Fred as an appetizer...
