Ah never heard of it, and Googling heat tape only brings up the heating element or aluminum tape. (Yeah, if you can even get duct tape to stick to anything. Nowadays, duct tape hardly even adheres to itself let alone anything else. Name brand, off brand, doesn't matter.)

Ah. No wonder it doesn't show up in a search for "heat tape."

Re: Enclosure for incoming wee one
It's also called aluminum foil tape. Sticks really well, taking it off and cleaning up the residue is a bit of work though.

Re: Enclosure for incoming wee one
Leave the paper on. All it does is protect the sticky stuff.

Re: Enclosure for incoming wee one
Ok...someone suggested sticking it to aluminum foil. I was just worried that the paper would catch fire or not allow it to heat properly

No offense but that's just sad, the snake looks proportionately huge in that cage, after seeing a few of your other posts about your pets, I think your going for quantity not quality, if you really cared about your snakes health I'd go for the maximum cage size not minimum, sorry I know thats a bit blunt/harsh but I feel like its the truth

Re: Enclosure for incoming wee one
Yeah, not going full out for babies, sorry. She will eventually be in a 5x2x2 or a 6x2x2 for her adult enclosure.
Thank you for your opinion though. =)
