So I havnt had a small snake in years, in fact nothing below a BRB size since I had my first cornsnake... But I've absolutely fallen in love with this little garter species, Californian red sided garters!!
Don't get me wrong, I love my boa's and there's nothing that matches my retic for intelligence and fun but Bella is full of so much character.. Well actually she's full of hate and melodramatics to be honest haha!!
She's always diving around the tank after her food (she's a mouse feeder, the guy who sourced her for me converted her very well) and I think the was she postures when threatened with a flattened head is cute as hell lmao, which I don't think is quite her intention... Bites me all the time and musks profusely but you've just gotta love her!!
