A planted vivarium for a king or milksnake

Eventually I would like to have all my animals in planted terrariums, which in most cases examples exist to help the setup. What I have not been able to find is an example for a bioactive set up for a king or milk snake. In my specific situation it is for my Imperial pueblan, which is a hybrid between a pueblan milk snake and a California king snake. I believe the two species live in similar habitats so a habit that works for either would be good for my guy. I am curious about the setup of said habitat. They do not do well in high humidity situations so I would need to take that in account. I was thinking about maybe more drought tolerant plants like succulents. This then leads to the question about the cage clean up crew. I know most bugs available tend to need high humidity to survive. I was wondering if anyone has set up anything similar to what I am looking for or had any tips for me.
