I was at the Hamm expo last Saturday and it was a really successful day. It was as crowded as last year and there were also a great number of animals you won’t see on many other shows.
I found a female Aesculapian snake (Zamenis longissimus) (cb 2015) for my male from last year.
I also got a male Baron’s racer (Philodryas baroni) (cb 2015) for my two females. I don’t have any pictures yet, he disappeared as soon as he came into his new enclosure and didn’t show himself since then.
Most importantly I found a female tiger ratsnake (Spilotes pullatus) for my group. It was wc from French Guiana. I will keep it separate for a while, because it is still much smaller then my other Spilotes.
And last not least I found something for our office enclosure – a male green tree monitor (Varanus prasinus). He is also still a little shy so I will take some more pictures when he is outside his hide again.
