Soooo, what's the deal on the woma? I'd make the drive if it was worth it, lol.
As for your "sponsors" keeping you on track I'd suggest a straight jacket and maybe a couple of baseball bats in case you wiggle out of the hair shirt. 
The hoggies and maybe even the BP's will likely be breeding age before you have that house. My mom used to say "Life is what happens while you're making other plans..." What's that old saying about good intentions paving the road to hell?
