I did some snake hunting today at the Texas City Terminal Railroad with a friend today, no luck with snakes but I did find a 4 foot 9 inch rat snake shed. Also went out and captured four lizards, an invasive species with pocket populations spreading all over the area, cuban anoles. They are beautiful but it's better I have them as pets than they compete with and displace the Carolina Anoles, they had enough problems just with the mediterranean house geckos.
