Lightbulb My Newest cage idea is complete

Hi,
this cage was designed to be stackable with up three cages high
movable and hold heat and humidty.
I am extremly pleased with the results of my testing of the cage this past week and have moverd my 2 sub adult guyana's in
I believe with the shelf they have 42 sq ft of usable floor and shelf space. temps were Max 84-min 82 top shelf and 80-82 bottom shelf

This was the first step to assemble the cage it fits together with special groves and requires a few screws in the top to hold it together, this make it easy to dissasemble if I need to.

top shelf has enclosed che's for heat they only cycle around 2 mins every 20-30 mins to maintain heat.I have a thermostat in the loop you can see its probe on the back wall

here;s the kids checking out the opening in the second floor notice i have two radient heat panels under the hide incase its cool I have it in the thermostat loop to

here's the male checking out the shelf and trying to come out

here's the final product with a 2/6 ft cage on top until I can save up to order the second cage that will go on top of the first one, I plan to stack three.
notice the vents have plexi glass you can add or remove glass to increase or decrease humidty its holding humidty and heat really well.

doug

the cage is made from russian birch waterproof plywood and has a formica like interior to prevent any moisture damage and to improve ease of cleaning.
it was built custom for me by a friend in Nothern VA ,
I can't build boxes much less doors and that formica nice.
