hey everyone coming to you with yet another question
my custom enclosure is being assembled in my place tomorrow for my black throat monitor that I will be picking up next Wednesday from Underground Reptiles (I could get whenever but I want a couple days to set up cage and make sure temp/humidity is good to go and steady before I bring him/her home!) however there is something I am trying to figure out how to do and im not quite sure how. the cage is really big, like really big and its 4 feet tall with the the light fixtures screwed into the top piece of the enclosure and I am trying to figure out where I can buy a log or something that I can put in there where the BT can climb to get a nice 130 degree basking temp. in order to do that though I will need something sturdy that will get about 2-2 1/2 feet upwards! I've never had a cage this big and cant find anything that size in pet stores. I could use some help here as I want this enclosure to be absolutely perfect for this monitor and not be some inhumane handler who doesn't have a good basking spot for his monitor. Thoughts gogogogo
