Mei-ling is our Taiwan Beauty rat snake. She was hatched at the BGSU herp lab in Bowling Green, Ohio on July 29,2013.
We spent almost an hour at the herp lab looking at all their reptiles and talking with Dr Underwood. She's a great person to talk with and its really easy to loose track of time. Luckily we didn't get a ticket since the parking meter had run out by the time we got out of there, LOL.
She came home with us on March 10, 2014. She weighed 62 grams. She was fine until I let go after putting her in the enclosure, then she bit me , lol. Didn't waste any time at all :]
She's settling in nicely though.
