Talking new to snakes

Hi. My name is Nadine and I just acquired my first snake this week. She is 3 year old spotted python.
The last owner hadn't fed her for a month, so I was bitten the first day. I was smart enough to give her two mice, and now that she has digested them, we are friends.
As I waited for her to digest them (I gave her 48 hours), I began to realize how pitifully small my snake knowledge actually is. I had to ask my mentor about her coloring (the rainbow reflective sheen) and how long to leave her after she ate.
So, I found this forum and I hope to learn a lot more about snakes and particularly learn my own snake better.
I breed Sugar gliders, and I have for over 5 years, I have 32 adults that I adore. I also have 7 crested geckos and one gargoyle gecko.

The pics are of my snake, one of my geckos, and a few of my gliders in my pet colony.
