Hi there. I am new to the Forum.
Hello, my name is Greg. I am new to the forum and relatively new to ball pythons. Though i am not new to snakes as i have had two corn snakes for going on 3 years. However, i have only had my ball for about 4 months or so. He is a year and a half old. He is about 39" long. Such a gentle fella. i absolutely love him! I noticed that he wont eat during a shed process. But right after is no problem he gobbles up his rat. But for the last few weeks he has not eaten at all. I offered it to him during a shed just to make sure if he wanted to eat he could..no go. So i waited and after the shed..still nothing. I have a book that i have read thru about 6 times or more on this matter. it says that during winter the may fast sorta like hibernating. His tank is never in "winter" conditions so this is kind of frustrating. I do understand instincts though so no biggy. i am just wondering what some of your thoughts are on this. Its only been about 2.5 weeks since he ate last which i know isn't long but i just like to err on the side of caution. Thank you for all your help.
