It's great that it sparks interest in animals, However the sheer numbers of neglected exotic species be it through misunderstanding husbandry, negligence, financial burdens or refusal to accept that reptiles do not enjoy repeated molestation and being locked in boxes their whole (often abbreviated) lives tugs at my guts.
Now, my biggest reason for hoping that Perentie lizards never become pets, how in the heck could ANYONE provide for this!
