Like I said, the lid had been off for some cleaning a few minutes before I took the pic.
Keep in mind that I live in the desert and the relative humidity is very low here compared to where you live.....plus the A/C is on all the time, which dries the air even more. If I misted the substrate weekly, the humidity would stay in the 70% range all the time. Its presently sitting at 62% and I haven't misted the cage since her last shed over 2 weeks ago.
