Aspidites could be another avenue to explore... I don't know squat about any species that's not native to Oz so can't help with anything else.
Strophurus geckos are also a good lizard to keep... if your looking at lizards or you can stick with the Nephs, I keep
N. l. pilbarensis. There's pics of them somewhere on here if you want to have a look..
