little bout myself

not much to say, i used to have a big collection of snakes, mostly rtbs and a few nice morph balls. had to rehome a lot of them due to moving across several states and figured it would be too stressful for them to spend several hours on the road.

lately i've been eyeing the larger pythons but not too sure about the sheer size that burmese and retics get to, though i'm starting to love bloods a lot more. they have the chunkiness of a burm but don't get as big. hoping to add a magpie or ivory blood someday, i'd like to get back into my snake collection.

i'll probably eventually ask for more info on bloods, but i'm focusing on the peachie for now. i want to make sure she gets her health back before doing anything else. when it comes time to add a blood i think i'll buy from vpi.

right now i have my peach throat who's hopefully getting back on track since she's eating now. made some more fixes to her enclosure today, such as putting back in the decorations she got inside of and replacing the plexi stack with a plywood one. she's steadily been cruising around, climbing, and burrowing. ofcourse hiding a lot, too.

we also have a beardie, hypo 100% het trans. he's a juvie, still has quite a bit of growing to do. while the neighbor was over the wife snapped a shot of him, so i got that to share. he's a real stunner for color. he's more of my wife's. personally, if i went for a beardie, i'd go with a hypo trans german giant x blood... or a silkback. been thinking about maybe breeding him.

edit: we got him discounted 'cause the tip of his tail is gone. guess a shed cut off circulation. wife didn't care about that, though, she just really liked him. he's a pretty cool beardie, loves to eat. meal time is his favorite time, snapping up crickets, meals, and veggies.
