Moving to Florida!

Hi everyone,
I will be moving to florida this July to go to Vet School, and i was wondering if i could get any advice on how best to transport my critters.

I have 6 snakes, which I'm planning to put in tupperwares with aspen for the drive... if we do 10hrs driving per day, will they be ok without water as long as i provide them water overnight when we stop?

Leopard gecko: same as above.
Day gecko: tupperware with misted/damp paper towel (this is how i got him at the expo)

AXOLOTL: completely at a loss on this one :/ I got him at a fish store locally, at only 2 inches so he was just in a bag like you would buy a goldfish. He is now almost 10 inches And how do I deal with the filter/cold temp requirement?

Also, as far as i know, none of my pets are illegal in florida (kings, corns, rosy boa, pine snake), can anyone confirm this? I can rehome some of them to local ithacans if needed, but i definitely dont want to!
