Meet Lola, the new redfoot to my little "herd," Previous owners were in the Coast Guard and moved around a lot. They said she was generally happiest in this area, so they brought her to the rescue. She's about 5-yrs-old and obviously has some pyramiding. Hopefully, the natural southern sunshine and humidity will help it in years to come.
Lobo, the largest male I rescue last year, is not too sure about his new cagemate, as he sits in the shade.
She gives him the stink-eye as he investigates.
I bring the two smaller ones, Moby and Toby, as well to get some sunshine, too.
Here's a comparison of the two juvies. When I first got Moby (the slightly larger pyramided one), Toby was nearly half his size. Now they're almost the same!
"Are you my Daddy?"
