Hogan my GTP last fed on 22nd October 2012 and is currently eating his first rat since that date. Five months and eleven days between feeds and he is perfectly healthy.
I think this is one of the amazing things about snakes, personally, and hope this allays anyones worries when their snakes go into a fasting period.
Obviously you need to check their husbandry and keep an eye on their condition but if there is nothing else wrong then they will eat eventually
