I've had Nancy for 8 days now ,no handling whatsoever , just fresh water every 2 days and the odd misting for humidity .....!

So yesterday i tried to feed her and she was buried deep but i found her head ,so i held a rat pup and she struck straight away but also caught a chunk of coco-husk.......DAMN .....a minute or so passed and she let go of the rat to try and dislodge the husk which was well and truely stuck......my thoughts were well thats this feed down the pan as i know i have to help her remove it from her mouth ,she couldn't do it and i gave her about 3-4 mins to do so but no luck.......
Feed mode i wondered ,i'm sure to get bit here now ,anyhow i picked her up and gently held her behind her head and pulled her bottom lip down so my wife could use the tweezers to remove the husk ,all went well with that and no bites.....sweet
now to the rat pup ,i held Nancy in my hand and she took the rat from my hand no strike just a casual open of her mouth and i held her almost to the end ,i couldn't believe she was gonna eat after all that ,me and my wife were so happy that she did ,normally i feed on a lid but given she is a baby i didn't want to disturb or frighten her .

i later on checked on Sid and he greeted me with a yawn ,as if to say "i'm ready for my rat now " lol
