If you are currently housing him in a fish-tank-type enclosure, that could be causing some of the problem. They are impossible to properly secure, and they do not allow for enough humidity for a retic to shed.

negative! my fish-tank that i'm currently using (his new cage is currently being finished) keeps 50% with just cypress mulch and a towel on top. Now, this could very well be because I have a pain in the rear who spills his water daily, but even so.

o.o how do you teach them to use paper? Pajamas just curls up on top of it, which i know is a good thing, but i know he wants to hide sometimes...
