Foaming at the mouth?

I noticed Sunday during a routine check-in that one of my BCC's had a small about of what looked like saliva, if you will, just out the tip of his mouth. Nose was clear, no bubbles or other sign of URI, and this saliva is not apparent now. One small bit to add to the concern is that he didn't eat last night where normally he's a pretty aggressive eater.

Is this most likely a URI? Obviously I'll keep a close eye on him, and continue monitor his eating, just wanted some opinions.

Thanks as always!
