I thought everyone might enjoy a few pictures of Xena, now that she is settled in. Xena is an
Atheris broadleyi, or Broadley's bush viper. She was CB in 2011. I got her from my friend Shawn in Lancaster. She's a stunning little girl, very yellow...in fact, I'm not 100% convinced that there isn't a tinge of
squamigera blood in her.
However, she is only semi-arboreal, and when she is angered (90% of the time) she flattens herself out like a pancake, both traits of
broadleyi. She also has the blue tail.
