Milk Snake with a broken neck?

Hi guys,

My boyfriend and I are out on vacation and he just phoned me to tell me while he was out herping he came across a milk snake that appeared to have a broken neck. I haven't seen it yet so I have no photos but he says it can still move it's body fine, it just has a kink and has trouble moving it's head around. I'm still very new to the snake world so I am just wondering if it could have a chance at surviving? I read one post about a snake that had broken it's neck and had to be force fed the rest of it's life. We'd be willing to take it in for the remainder of it's life if need be.

Any info is appreciated, and sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section.
Thanks in advance!
