Water Dragon not eating

i have a 1-2 yr old water dragon..ive read most everything i can find on them he is in a 55G tank with dirt on one side water on the other an undertank heater that goes under the water 2 heat lamps and a water fall along with 9 or 10 assorted live plants, after discribing all this his problem is that he wont eat...the only thing ive managed to get him to eat is mealworms and only if they are actively moving around as soon as they he loses interest and stops eating...ive tried fish, pinky mice, assorted veggies, fruit, the premixes you get at the pet store, and wax worms, ive gotten so desperate that twice a week i force feed him liqoud vitamins. i dont want him to die and he looks emaciated all the time.

i have a friend that says maybe its just nature saying he shouldnt make it...is there anything i can do to help this guy? hes super friendly and loves being out
