We are first time breeders so this morning was quite exciting for us. We have only 2 eggs left from a clutch of 21. 16 were slugs. 2 went south in the first week and another about 2 weeks ago. I am off to work and will check the other when I get home. Maybe open it if it hasn't pipped yet. So very happy. Both parents have black eyes so seeing this guy having half light is really neat.
