New from Oregon
My name is Kim, Im a private rescue of 24 years for reptiles, small aniamls & exotic birds. We also do wildlife rehab & transport with our local clinics. Our favorite thing to do with our perminant resident animals is to go to schools & museums & give educational presentations, doing about 100 a year. We have 5 to do in the next 2 weeks alone. I have 10 snakes, but not all are residents, one is a ball python that came in with severe mouth rot, an albino milksnake that came in emanciated & a nippy common kingsnake, all in for special attention & hopefully will be adopted out. My others are a grey banded kingsnake, a california kingsnake, a bairds ratsnake, a corn snake, a ball python, nuevo leon kingsnake & a hognose. I prefer the kingsnakes over most other species but have had a few other species come in, including taiwan beauty snakes, other colubrids & pythons. We also have around 80 species of tarantula, scorpion, beetles, roaches & other inverts we use at presentations. I spend all of my spare time researching & learning. Trying new ideas & learning more about meds. This group looks like another good forum so hoping to get some more info on taming & natural display enclosures for unadoptable snakes. Kim
