While I typically see it a few times each year I also miss way more than I see. This week I fed my breeding adults on Monday and on Friday Tawney looked like this: Notice how localized the swelling is. Looks like she just ate a large meal but she was the only female in the breeding group that did NOT feed. Today the swelling was already spreading out and not so localized.
