Country:
A few things I have learned about my snakes.

So today I came to a few revelations that are things I have been thinking about.
I wasn't sure where to put this so I stuck it here.
Ok here we go.

Breading boas :
So after much research I had decided to cohabitate my boas permenently. But now after having them together for a few months I plan to seperate them. Why? Not because of husbandry issues or risk of 1 attacking the other or any of that. My male is the most awesome friendly snake around. Or he was. Now he is very protective of her and gets all "big eyed" any time I open his viv. He is no longer handleable by my 10 yr old and he is heart broke. Got to change him back. I took him out today for about 10 min. Got a couple great shots. Then on the way back to his viv he tagged me. So next week the love affair is over. I'm picking up another pcv viv for him.

King Snakes:
Funny snakes to own. Usually docile but extremely food agressive.
They should have a larger viv stuff to climb around on and are great to watch.
But remember. Kings eat other snakes and if you hold another snake ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS AND FOREARMS BEFORE HANDLING A KING. Or he will try to eat you. Which our king has thought about. Great to own.

Gopher snakes:
Very docile after you get them out of their viv. Can be cage defensive. Voratious eaters. I mean a total pig. Mine eats mice 2x her diameter once a week and is growing like crazy. Easy to care for. Great snakes to own.

Breeding JCP's:
That was easy. No changes is personality just a lack of eating.
My favorite snakes to own.

Ball pythons:
Not always couch potatoes. Not mine. He climbs and wanders. Another great pet snake.

Leopard geckos:
Are like dogs. Cute as babies but don't retain the look into adulthood but easy to own and care for.

Bearded dragons:
Intelegent compared to snakes. Easy and fun. Busy little guys. BUT. Man they stink. Wheewweee.

Most of this was just for fun. Not an educational thread. Just some things I have noticed along the way here. Thanks for reading.
