after brumation

i introduce the male to the female in her tank

leave them together 7 days

then put the male back in his own tank for 7 days

then put the male back in with the female for another 7 days

i repeat the above until i've witnessed plenty locks

then i take the male out,put a nest box in the females tank,and sit with my fingers crossed
